Objectives 9/30
Hi my name is John and I love to blog about online auctions. My main objective to this blog is to help people sell better and I hope we can come together and learn new things and share information so we can do one thing Sell, Sell, Sell! I believe that we all need to share in the wealth of the internet.Experiences 9/30My experience on online auctions has been frustrating at times and you really need to do a lot of reasearch to be a good seller. The other things you need are a good digital camera and good photo-editing software and a good printer. I recommend adobe-photoshop elements for photo editing because it has outstanding photo optimization for the web. For the Printer & Camera I recommend a Cannon Powershot for the camera & a Cannon All in One for the printer. I recommentd cannon products because I have checked on Consumer Reports and Cannon is the top of the line.
Findings 9/30
My findings is that you don't want to rely on just ebay because their are other auctions out there. Here are the ones I found: Overstock, Plunderhere, Online Auction, Rediff Auctions, and WeBidz Auctions. If you do start selling on Ebay here are some of my suggestions:
1. Search through which categories and products that are selling the best by doing an advanced search and view only those items that have bids on them.
2. The next step is finding the item that is selling and buy them in wholesale lots. The items I found are DG eyewear, handbags, DVDs and Children's books. If you look on Ebay you can find some wholesale lots for some of the items. I have bought some sunglasses from liquidation.com but my shipment was short so I recommend Ebay for sunglasses. Liquidation.com has good deals on wholesale lots of authentic women's handbags but I am afraid to take a big risk when they shorted me on my sunglasses. If someone knows where I can buy wholesale lots of authentic women's handbags let me know.Once you find the items you are ready to sell them. If you sell on Ebay before you start selling go to Seller Central where they have selling tools. You should also checkout Ebay University and learn as much as you can to be a successful seller. The things I found out to be successful are the opening bid, description, and the most important is a good picture. I also have a lot of Auctions Links AT Bottom of The Page to Check Out!
